1) Age requirement
Yap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts and use of the service are intended for adults and teens in compliance with applicable age rules and store policies.
2) Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
We prohibit uploading, sharing, soliciting, or distributing child sexual abuse material. We do not allow content that sexualizes minors or facilitates harm to children. Violating content is removed and accounts may be terminated.
3) Reporting inside the app
Users can report child safety concerns through in-app reporting and support channels. Reports are reviewed under our safety and moderation processes.
4) Moderation and enforcement
We apply technical and operational measures to detect and address abuse, including content restrictions and account actions where appropriate. We may preserve relevant information when required for safety investigations or legal process.
5) Cooperation with authorities
Where required by law, we report apparent child sexual exploitation to appropriate regional or national authorities or designated organizations, and we cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
6) Updates
We may update these standards as our practices and legal obligations evolve. The current version is always published at this URL.
