What Yap does

Users record and send voice Yaps, discover contacts already using Yap, and receive delivery notifications. Some features include optional anonymous (Ghost) sends and subscription-based entitlements.

How user data is used

Yap uses account, contact, and message metadata only to provide core app features, prevent abuse, and keep the service secure. If contacts access is granted, contact numbers are processed for matching users.
